For the re-establishment of the Feast of St. Philomena within the liturgical
calendar of the Church.
The Archconfraternity of St. Philomena is an international movement of lay people with a special devotion to St. Philomena. You do not need to be a member to show your support by joining our petition drive. Please fill in the information below and submit your petition today!

Your Eminence,
We, the faithful from all parts
of the world, wish to humbly make known to your Congregation our ardent love and devotion
to the young martyr-saint discovered in the catacombs of St. Priscilla, May 25, 1802, and
raised to the honors of the altar by Pope Leo XII, on January 30, 1837, the virgin-martyr,
St. Philomena.
Along with the manifest devotion
of numerous popes and saints who have confirmed her powerful intercession with Christ the
one Mediator, including Bl. Pope Pius IX, Pope Leo XIII, Pope St. Pius X, St. John Marie
Vianney, Ven. Pauline Jaricot, St. Peter Chanel, and many others, we also wish to add our
own person witness and gratitude to the experience of intercession and spiritual favors
received through prayer to St. Philomena, called by Pope Gregory XVI the
"Wonder-worker of the 19th Century".
We thereby respectfully request
Your Eminence and the office of this Congregation for an official statement of
clarification reaffirming the positive status of St. Philomena, virgin and martyr, as a
saint of God, and, if possible, for the re-establishment of the Feast of St. Philomena
within the liturgical calendar of the Church, for the spiritual benefit of the People of
God today.
