Open Letter to All St. Philomena Devotees and other Catholics Worldwide,

Dear Friend,

To help commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the finding of the relics of St. Philomena in the catacombs of St. Priscilla in Rome, Italy, I invite you to participate in this worldwide petition drive on her behalf.  St. Philomena has had many devoted devotees, among them:

• Pope Pius IX
• Pope Leo XIII
• Pope St. Pius X
• St. John Marie Vianney
• Bl. Pauline Jaricot
• St. Peter Chanel, and many others,

We also wish to add our own person witness and gratitude to the experience of intercession and spiritual favors received through prayer to St. Philomena, called by Pope Gregory XVI the "Wonder-worker of the 19th Century".  Without her intercession, there would be no Saint Philomena Foundation.  We love her dearly.

If there ever was a time the we needed her it's now.  As you join with us in petition to our beloved Church to once again allow her a spot on the liturgical calendar, let us pray to St. John Vianney for his miraculous intercession on our behalf.  If there was ever a person that every walked the earth who loved her more dearly, I'm not aware of him. I'm sure that he would welcome one more opportunity to help guide the Church in this request.
